It’s wild to me that libs like you can say this with a straight face after Trump has already had a term as President.

He will have plenty of time to alter the status quo. Isn’t that what project 2025 is all about? Even if Trump denies his involvement in this project, he sure knows all people involved, and he is known to lie about everything if it benefits him.

If he is such a threat to “democracy” why hasn’t he been dealt with by the democrats either via the courts, or with a timely accident? You really need to meditate on that thought.

There was a republican that tried to kill him, however unsuccessfully. Other than that, there have been plenty of court cases.

But i really don’t care what happenes, because I’m not voting for any of them. It would be a very interesting social experiment to see how bad it’ll be. I’m welcoming the purge thay may follow.

That does bring us back to their question. If Trump is going to destroy the United States government, why is it that one schizophrenic man and another republican voter take him more seriously than the entire Democrat Party?

Project 2025 is another one. Republicans have been seizing all political institutions in the US for the past 40 years or so, and the Democrats are now campaigning with Cheneys, Bushes and the like.

I think the Dems see Trump as an awesome opportunity for fundraising. That’s it.

To add to that note, this would literally just be a “normal” neoliberal landslide election if the Dems just decided that stopping a genocide was an acceptable tradeoff to winning the election.

I can’t even believe I wrote that out, it’s so farcical and yet it’s reality. Democrats would rather lose democracy than stop committing genocide.

Why would he only become interested in becoming a dictator the second time he runs? He could have taken leadership of the Jan 6 shenanigans if that’s what he wanted.

All he cares about is his ego, it’s clear that actually running the country has no appeal to him.
