The manhunt for the suspect who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has now entered its fourth day as authorities learn more about his movements before the attack.
Mostly the amount of floundering NYPD’s doing. I don’t know if they’re just kicking back letting them squirm because they’re pissed at NYPD or if it’s because of it being just a guy shooting a guy in New York, but if they were engaged I would have expected the white house to be talking about it.
Also, since it may not have been clear, I’m counting the FBI as cops in this, not as alphabet boys a.k.a. the US Intelligence apparatus.
Considering the history of alphabet orgs performing operations for the benefit of the wealthy few and corporations, I’d imagine they care quite a bit about this, especially considering how many slightly left leaning democracies in South and Central America were toppled by the CIA.
