I find it difficult to believe that most people don’t have a spare 30/45/60 mins in their day where a hobby can be pursued.

People will spend that time scrolling social media, or watching TV, but then complain that they don’t have enough time for their own hobbies or well-being.

The 5 day, 40 hour working week, is definitely outdated and I would argue for change, but people don’t help themselves on this particular topic. Get a life, get some hobbies.

Said by someone with no commute, no chores, and no problems in their life in need of maintenance and supervision

The only way i can make time for my hobbies after work is by staying up til 2AM

Oh sure getting 30 minutes a day to yourself is amazing. How generous of our corporate overlords to give us 30 minutes!

Did you read the part where I said the 40 hour working week is outdated?

Who knew Lemmy could be so toxic.

Grow up brother. Or maybe just get a life and get some hobbies.

When you get older, you start to understand physically having time for something and mentally having time for something. Most people DO in fact manage to find half an hour to an hour for themselves a day, but need to spend that time trying to unwind or de-stress from an already busy life. Pursuing a hobby during those precious few moments will just add to the already busy day and make things more stressful.

Sometimes you just want to sit down in front of your TV or PC for an hour and not talk to anyone or have any obligations before getting back to the grind, and that’s the only thing keeping you sane.
