    Just because you don’t understand it? I’ll rephrase it: “explicitly dismissing the trans-status of a majority-trans community”. Better?

    All you’re doing is trying to make yourself feel better by saying other people are horrible with the implication you aren’t

    That’s exactly what this community is lol

      “I don’t believe X” is not necessarily a statement about X. This is a prime example of it. They dismissed no evidence, they simply stated they don’t believe something that there’s plenty of reasons to find unlikely. ✌️

        Right, bigotry isn’t actually about the quality being marginalized, it’s about reinforcing a desired hierarchy using whatever distinctions are most convenient and salient. Hard to paint them as bigots when they themselves are minorities; easier (and far more rhetorically salient) to simply deny their trans identity altogether.
