A upsettingly large portion of the country doesn’t understand how the world works in any meaningful capacity

At this point I’d rather see California split off and become it’s own country (not gonna happen, but I can dream).

That would be great, but what would prevent the fascist country next door with the most powerful military in the world from annexing it back?

Doesn’t the EU require countries to be physically located somewhere around Europe?

Unfortunately yes. There are some exceptions, like French Guyana in South America being in the European Union, but that’s because it’s under the republic of France.

That’d be pretty rad. Hell, I’d be down to be Canadian at this point. I just want to live a quiet, peaceful life dammit. I’m not looking forward to the next few years.

          Cyberpunk theme intensifies

Where are my goddamn robot arms. We have corporate hellscapes, hacker collectives, and private militaries, but I still can’t get robo limbs at a Walgreens walk up clinic.
