minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink18•3 months agoIt’s not going to change in Canada because maps are dynamic. Borders aren’t recognized the same way everywhere, and names aren’t the same everywhere; therefore map providers render the map as it is recognized in the viewer’s location.

It’s not going to change in Canada because maps are dynamic. Borders aren’t recognized the same way everywhere, and names aren’t the same everywhere; therefore map providers render the map as it is recognized in the viewer’s location.
