My issue with it is that, I consider this dufus so bad, it’s not funny anymore. And I don’t want us who hate him to look like we hate him for anything else that for his thoughts and actions.

I don’t have a problem with the fat joke, I just think, that focussing on his physical flaws distracts us from what ab incredible idiot he is.
Phew. I’m glad I only think I look like him, and I at least can diet that away and still have a personality.
