Just be glad all of the intersections meet at the same point. If it were all off, especially by irregular amounts, this would be far worse. And I’ve seen that. A lot

Whoever installed this at least did a good job and tried to do the best they could.

I get that this is mildlyinfuriating, but a single instance of maybe an inch of misalignment in an install like that is damn impressive.

I take it you haven’t done T-bar ceiling install, or pretty much any real world installations. You start with a plan and then 6 other factors pop up.

Stuff like this makes me twitch too, but usually I’m looking for the cause/train of thought/error that lead to it. Often I’ll work backwards far enough to realize shits like that because it is.

No but I’ve done construction plumbing, and have had cleaner looking work that gets hidden behind walls. I’m sure the plans didn’t call for the angle to be messed up so they didn’t align and have mismatched sections.

I guess we won’t ever know that, since your work is 90% hidden. Count your blessings my friend.

They’re very very close. I assure you, it could be far worse.

Also, that doesn’t seem like something that a person would casually notice unless they stared at it for a long time.

Maybe not you…I can’t unsee shit like that. I can’t look at paintings in homes near airports… There’s a lot of people who easily see misalignments of a fraction of a degree without trying

And it’s always worse from a distance, always worse in person
