With a market flooded with options, it can be daunting finding an electric bike that meets modest demands – like commuting to work or getting out and about on the weekend – that also comes with an equally modest price tag. But this superb number ticks both boxes, and then some.
Personally, I don’t trust this brand, but maybe someone out there has had a good experience with them.
I don’t have an opinion about the brand, but will they be around in 5 or 10 years to offer replacements for their custom battery shape? If not, the value of the bike will be close to zero.
This. I am really, really tired of custom battery shapes in the ebike market. They are one of the most important parts of the bike and if they can’t be properly serviced then it’s just an acoustic bike with extra weight.
100% this. The “ugly” external battery packs were nearly universally compatible with all e-bikes. And that’s how they should be!
Why the hell would I want my bike to become a victim of planned obsolescence when they are traditionally meant to last a lifetime?
