He said speaking up during the address was the best way “get across to a person who uses his incivility, who uses his incivility against our civility.”

This is very not what civil politics look like unless of course one loves the taste of boot. Mmm boots.

Neither that nor am I showing deference to the wealthy traitors running roughshod over our government turning it into an authoritarian kleptocracy.

There is a middle ground here in the real world.

and the dems not rioting was deference yes?

someone shouting “they didn’t do enough” is contributing to progressive politics and saving us from trump

Yes. Suggesting quiet civility in the face of complete disregard for your fellow countrymen is deference. A riot was not suggested. Standing up was.

No dumb fuck. You ever read a history book? Congress used to have literal fist fights.

Defending yourselves from being ejected from your literal work place, a place YOUR constituents elected you to be at, by someone who is by not a single ounce of the definition, your boss, is not violence. It is not “arming” yourself, IT IS LITERALLY DOING WHAT YOUR OATH OF OFFICE STATES, TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED FUCKING STATES

I suppose you’ll just lay down and die when they come for you. I grieve for your family and anyone who depends on you.

i’ll kill em. but i still prefer my politicians to remain peaceful. that’s kinda what they’re for

actually come to think of it, why didn’t you storm the capitol a month ago like your favourite politician did
