Perhaps I poorly worded my comment. What I meant was that I’ve always automatically taken the side of Jews whenever some event or situation came about that I involved them. I always assumed antisemitism played a part, but seeing the gleeful cheer and violent rhetoric from so many Israeli Jews has soured me on the benefit. I won’t make a knee jerk judgement call anymore.
It’s pretty antisemetic to see any group including Jews as a monolith, especially when Jews disproportionally attend pro Palestinan ralleys and are being arrested while pro Israeli ones are dominated by American evangelicals, far right, and Israelis
Well if that makes me antisemitic then I guess I am, because the way zionist Jews gleefully cheered on the eradication of Gaza and her people was eye opening.
