My girlfriends apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher and sometimes she’ll leave for work before me so I’ll do the dishes and clean up and make the bed and all that. And every time she’s surprised I have done such a thing.
I mean… What asshole guys isn’t doing this and why do the rest of us have to be compared to him!
There’s a lot of heroes out there doing even less than the bare minimum making it a lot easier for those of us who put in any effort at all. Seems to get more common as I get older.

He’s doing us a favor by setting the bar so low.
I have the same thing with my GF. I express my emotions regularly and she acts like I’m an EQ genius.
