But since this is a recommendation for daily intake, I would love to see gymbros use the SI version of g/kg/day, namely 1/s.

But expressing that ratio in units that you actually use when measuring the thing makes sense. It’s not like you’re actually doing fancy maths with it, just cross-multiplication. If you don’t conveniently know your body weight in kg, you might as well remember the ratio in relation to lbs.
