I want as few Palestinians to fear for their lives as possible. I wish Trump hadn’t won the election and promised to turn Gaza into a US colony. Now it’s only going to get worse. I wish we were fighting Kamala to make things better. She’s easier to pressure. Now we’re stuck fighting Trump to make things worse slower.

Yup, at least with the democrats you can protest without being kidnapped into a van on the way to El Salvador.

It’s amazing how blueMAGA libs are incapable of talking about the Palestinian genocide in terms of actual Palestinian people. They can only think about it in terms of how it will affect Americans. 2,500,000 people being exterminated is forgivable, so long as the impotent domestic protests are being brutalized in the proper way.

But every time us pro-palestinian people tried to put pressure on Kamala we were called tankies. Are you a tankie?

See? Here’s the problem, the Democrats were doing the exact same thing to Gaza, but you were a denialist when it was your team doing it. At least under Trump you actually acknowledge what’s happening (even if you still deny what was happening under the Democrats)

I wish we were fighting Kamala to make things better. She’s easier to pressure.

Receipts? Because over a year of pressure didn’t get the Democrats to budge even one inch, and for the entirety of that time the “vote blue no matter who” crowd actively opposed that pressure while also engaging in denialism to defend the Democrats.

When Kamala was VP, pro-palestine protesters in the US didn’t get disappeared by the secret police.

No, just beaten and arrested by regular police.

But that’s entirely besides the point because it doesn’t change the fact that over a year of pressure couldn’t move the Democrats even an inch.

AIPAC had to spend 100s of millions to get Israel friendly democrats elected instead because they were scared the decent democrats would win the races and stop supporting genocide thanks to all the protesting people were doing.

Yeah, and it worked. The Democratic party remains dominated by hardcore ideological Zionists who didn’t move one inch in response to pressure, even if it cost them the election.

You’re missing the point, if it didn’t work the zionists wouldn’t had to spend so much money to affect an election in their favour.

Citizen’s united, first-past-the-post and the relentless attacks on the objectively better candidate really screwed people over during the election. Donald Trump is way worse on Palestine and on every other issue.

No, the point is that it didn’t make a lick of difference to the actual situation in Gaza. Also, Zionists spend just as much on Republicans, so you’re point doesn’t work even if it were relevant.

Trump is way worse on Palestine

He objectively isn’t, you’re just a denialist when it’s your team doing it. In that sense, Trump is slightly better for Palestine, because at least under him, liberals are willing to acknowledge the extent of what’s happening and stop engaging in denialism and excuse making.
