A different way of putting it…the ones who insult the kid in the top photo, would also be the same ones who would destroy app the flowers for the slain kids in the bottom photo.
I read the “them” statement as you pinning it as the top photo kids being the ones destroying the memorial. Plain and simple, I thought you were a maga asshole. There was no way of understanding what you were really saying with your vague statement. My bad.

The issue is that nobody has ever heard of anyone destroying roadside memorials. There is no comparison because it isn’t a thing.
I’ve literally seen videos of people kicking candles over, smashing photos and ripping flowers before fleeing in their pickup truck, but ok.
