The DM was a DM asking us to change our no tankies policy and remove the fuck tankies banner as it was apparently upsetting hexbear users. Apparently tankies view the word tankie as a form of slur. The admin wants us to ally as a form of “left solidarity”

          I am also trying really hard to remain civil here and advocating that our users do so as well but when you have reactionary assholes saying “fuck communism” and using ableist slurs you should reflect on your whole “anti-tankie” stance.

          And I say this as an anarchist.

              Let this be a lesson to the moderation team here. When you allow this sort of bigotry you invariably get these sort of people weaponizing rules against “tankies” to shield themselves while being outspoken bigots.
