that and broke as hell but still. id get stopped at the border because a guy with a fullass beard with a ‘F’ on their passport is considered fraud.
Wish I could lol. Broke as shit and I can’t just leave my family behind. Unfortunately to get Real ID I have to provide my citizenship documents but those are in my deadname + birth sex and I can’t get them fixed without a baseline of $1k (have to pay for at least 2 private doctors in the UK to verify I am my chosen gender, plus court fees and 18+ months processing time).

Move to a border state like Washington, get an enhanced driver license and cross into Canada? EDL functions like a passport for land crossings.
Not sure what sort of federal checks are done for issuing those and if it’s still possible, sorry

I’m so sorry. And the UK is also increasingly discriminating against trans people too, ugh
I know of a trans woman that was successfully able to get their passport recently.
