But courting them and weaponizing their frustration with that they can’t perform masculinity in a way that works for society has been done frequently. It’s important to understand the role they play in fascism as we experience an intensified form of fascism from the one we’ve been living under. To me, it’s more about them not being able to reconcile an obvious conflict within themselves. They feel so strongly about what they are is right and just, or maybe just permanent, that they can clearly identify they are incapable in achieving something so important to them they accept the inability as their identity. Even though they accept it, they will not accept any outside assistance in correcting it.
