minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish32•24 days agoI always think back to this one: Leela: “that guy’s turning this place into some sort of ‘business’” Professor: “this isn’t a business, I’ve always thought of it more as a source of cheap labor … like a family” I don’t know why I like it so much. I could see the punchline coming but how the exchange got there makes me smile every time.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•23 days agoIt’s the ol’ “headache with pictures” quote that gets me.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•22 days agolol, it’s not just the quote that gets me with the “headache with pictures” … it’s Leela saying something like, “you mean an idea?” and then Fry with the weird nod reply
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•21 days agoYup. The whole exchange is fantastic. I do the head-nod part with my partner a lot if I struggle to explain something and she gives me a better phrasing for it (and vice versa).
