I once accompanied a teenager to one of those horse-girl movies. The auditorium was completely full, and apart from two young women who seemed to be doing it ironically, I was the only adult in the theater.
During the interval, I noticed how other adults handled it: They accompany the children to the movie theater and then have two hours to enjoy a few drinks.
I always see the movie with the kids, no matter how juvenile. That way I’m more aware of what they’re watching, and we can make inside jokes. Plus I didn’t think I’d like Teen Titans Go until I saw the movie.

This is my sentiment too. I have 2 years left until all my kids are adults. I fucking cherish this bullshit.
