          I do not believe that the term belongs exclusively to finance professionals. However, those who belong to https://feddit.org/c/europe are at least partly familiar with what is being talked about, but if you do not know a term, you can still look it up online. In any case, Tranche, in the financial market, basically means a share of something that has been split.
