It’s the second military zone the Trump administration has created at the border, following one on the New Mexico-Mexico border, where a group of migrants were arrested on Monday.
Never forget this: Everyone participating and ‘just following orders’ is also responsible, from the highest bureaucrats and generals to the lowest public servants and soldiers. Couldn’t have a death camp without everyone greenlighting and then Private John Doe following orders and building it.

Some of the lowest public servants could be opposing things below the radar. Malicious compliance, intentional incompetence, etc. There’s a reason that (outdated) sabotage handbook keeps going around, and there’s certainly a lot of leaks and obvious fuckups in this government that may or may not be accidental. See: the DOJ court filing with an internal memo saying “lol this case is doomed”
But all of the pilots flying the planes? The agents rounding up innocents without due process? The judges and prosecutors and spokespeople and soldiers following unconstitutional orders? Absolutely fucked.
