James McAvoy for me. X-Men first Class, Split, Speak No Evil, even Victor Frankenstein. If MCavoy’s name is attached to it, I’m probably going to see it. Charlize Theron is next. Mad Max: Fury road, Monster, and Kubo. Old guard… she acted her heart out, but it was okay in the end. (First post)
Tom Hanks, maybe. I used to say “he’s never done a bad movie” but then I saw his WWII movie that aired on AppleTV
-I don’t know if any actors are good enough to pull me in like that. There are however, a couple of major directors that guarantee I am going to the theatre. Guillermo Del Toro is probably the most likely one that comes to mind. Ridley Scott and James Cameron are likely to get me in the theatre as well.
Really? I fucking loved Greyhound. It’s like they surgically removed every boring movie trope they could find to leave just the best bits.
I thought they meant Every Time We Say Goodbye, which I like, but most people don’t.
Oh! Yeah maybe. I’ve never seen it. Given the reviews that seems a lot more likely.
