minus-squareBubslinkfedilink18•1 month agoDid you just “Well akshually” the original movie line? On an edited meme about someone complaining about ancient copper? Lol. Look guys! We got a silmarillion nerd here! (I’m assuming that’s a silmarillion fact you’re arguing, otherwise I’ll look like a Muppet lol)

On an edited meme about someone complaining about ancient copper? Lol. Guilty as charged, I’m afraid. Look guys! We got a silmarillion nerd here! I’m very sorry, but … (I’m assuming that’s a silmarillion fact you’re arguing, otherwise I’ll look like a Muppet lol) That’s mentioned by Elrond in the Lord of the Rings during the council before they left Rivendell (I’ve not read the Silmarillion yet … sorry).

And they were still bound to the power of the One. Annatar still deceived Celebrimbor, even if he wasn’t there when the Three were made. So technically the quote is still correct.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink4•1 month agoAll true! But turning back to the meme Nanni (other than Celembrimbor) wasn’t deceived by the trick of Ea-nasir (other than the elves with Sauron). 😛 So that comparison wouldn’t … ~Okay, okay, I’ll shut up, al right! ;)~
