I think you’re trying to align the Muppets to what their personalities would be. Instead pick against type. Or as their off type. Gonzo has been the narrator in almost all the muppet versions of movies. So he’d be great at telling stories and winning over NPCs as a Bard.

I like Rolf, but i think Sam the Eagle would be better a better choice as an uptight paladin.

Or how about Gonzo as the wizard who keeps getting KO’d in silly/pathetic ways, only he seems way too into it?
