There's little sign of positivity among Tories, who are facing a serious electoral test with by-elections looming.

    I think at this point they know they’re done for, so they’re going to finish breaking everything they’ve been underfunding for years and then gear up to blame Labour for the fallout.

      I think so.

      The damage is done, and people are pissed.
      The part has decided it may as well continue, then try to spin everything at the last second.
