I’m still wondering what Reddit was expecting by killing 3rd party apps before fixing their app. They just lost around 10% of their userbase.

I’m curious if that’s a guess, an estimate or something you pulled from a source. Not to imply any doubt, I’ve just been wondering the numbers myself.

Just guessing. 3rd party app userbase was around 10%. I’m pretty sure users always start with the main app and move to others because they just can’t stand the main one. I don’t imagine them going back to an app that was so annoying they had to drop it even if it was the official.
