Having a candidate who will at least make a good faith effort to address the corruption underlying our politics is the bare minimum, and Newsom ain’t it. He’d just put things on pause until the next fascist can gain power, like Biden did.

I was talking about Newsom being a Democrat who wouldn’t try to address the underlying issues that have made people open to fascism, and the other commenter was talking about centrist Democrats’ apparent electoral weakness.
