      Well, how do you know it’s not? They are right about polls. They say whatever you want them to say.

      It’s a common issue with polling. If I went onto the street in a city and asked people their favorite color I would be missing massive demographics. If you’re calling it’s mostly elderly people who answer those.

        Sure, if you designed a poll like you describe, it would have problems. But there are well studied ways of designing polls so the result is truly representative. There’s a whole science of this, and professional polls done in good faith will be designed to avoid these kinds of issues.

          If you’ve had any faith in American polling for the past two decades I don’t know what to tell you. It’s extremely well known to be tantamount to psudoscience. They complain about how off the polls are every election.

          If you think polls in the US are run in a professional or educated manner you’re tragically ignorant. Most of them are run that way intentionally. They’re trying to paint a narrative.

      There have been studies done about who responds to polling especially polling about politics. The personality types were laid out in it. Thats how I know.
