It’s mostly just a vessel for cocktail sauce. It’s still shrimpy enough, not as satisfying as the meat but still good if you don’t mind the crunchiness. As a kid, my parents didn’t eat the tails and I would take them (and the parsley used for garnish) and eat it because it was still good.
