We absolutely should do everything we can to minimize the impact of American volatility to our economy, but damaging our economy more than necessary to do so is counterproductive. Stringing on the bullshit until we have a clear exit plan is the smart move, distasteful as that may be.
It’s geographically impossible for Canada to completely eliminate trade with the US.
