I think we set a record yesterday for the most comments on a daily kōrero thread.
Not yet. 65 comments (currently) vs 76 from this one.
Ah well, we need to up our game!
Yeah, it’s almost embarrasing. That other post was from 2 months ago when we had less than half as many !newzealand subscribers.

Yes, although maybe those comments will need to be in a different thread, since not everyone wants to see politics stuff here
I’m not sure we’ll actually see too much in the way of serious politics, just my observation based on typical messaging we see most days. Of course if the daily is flooded with political bantering, then it may need to be moved to a specific thread for the topic.
Part of the benefit of the daily is that you never know what you’ll see tomorrow, and there could, and often is, something really interesting pop up as we have seen. Even if nearer the election it is politically biased, it might still be interesting.
I think it’s great. Such a friendly community, and lots of help if someone has a question.
