The world has experienced its hottest day on record, according to meteorologists.

The average global temperature reached 17.01C (62.62F) on Monday, according to the US National Centres for Environmental Prediction.

The figure surpasses the previous record of 16.92C (62.46F) - set back in August 2016.

    Promptly on what timescale? Geological?

    It’s always too little too late. If it wasn’t, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Reality speaks for itself.

      CFOs, lead on petrol were removed pretty fast considering the scale of usage being done. Lowering CO2 emissions will be much harder though since it’s required to replace technologies we’ve been using for decades.

      The fact there’s so much lobbying against nuclear it’s very retarded since we could’ve lowered emissions by a lot if were not for these people. And again, the loudest opposition isn’t even capitalist, some are more leaning left and even call themselves “environmentalists”.
