To be fair I get why he gets a call up, I just don’t think he deserves it over some other people. Like if I were Southgate and the rumours regarding Ben White were true, I’d rather call Maguire up than White, especially with what he’s trying to do with the culture of the national team. I just hope he doesn’t play.
Word was during the World Cup he had a bust up with staff, possibly Steve Holland (assistant manager to Southgate). Wouldn’t agree with it but it could make sense to not call him up because of that.
