minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 years agoSorry I missed the “non” part. In that case either they’re using a different die which is definitely possible seeing as they’re clocked lower than the iphone counterparts or they’re utilising an external USB controller.

Several NON-M1 iPads have USB 3.1. Even the iPad mini on the A15 supports usb 3.1.
