I mean, does it matter? Some code needs to be maintained, some really doesn’t. A launcher, once it’s built it keeps working. I’m still using lawnchair 1, won’t update to 2 because it’s missing features I need. Been using it since before 2 was released, at some point things are just done and that’s a good thing.
Doesn’t it need some sort of security update ? Sorry, I dont know anything about IT
Depends on the project, something like the linux kernel? all the damn time, something like a launcher tho is already in googles aggressively sandboxes environment, so can’t fuck up too much even if it tried
Some stuff like gesture support may depend on the android version, so that might break over time.
