    I think it’s original purpose was to keep us warm, but with the advent of clothing it became more of a irritant.

    Now, I would give anything for it to fall out lol, I feel like Zangief.

        Amen, I shaved it for a while but eventually it became to much work. Now my nephews call me gorilla.

          yeah… it really sucks. I wish I had long flowy hair. I used to have curls, now as I grew older I no longer have hair :/

          This is the curse of being a man. You get older and all the hair that used to be on your head shifts into your ears.

      Helps detect mosquitos too though, they never have a chance to bite me before getting crushed.

      It is actually useful for detecting bugs crawling on your skin. Having them bump into hairs is way more effective than just giving them a free, smooth pass. Sure, we get lots of false positives, but in an evolutionary context where bug bites, venom, and diseases are significantly more dangerous, 100 false positives are worth avoiding the 1 false negative.
