I’ve noticed today that [email protected] hasn’t had any new posts or comments for about a day now.
However when I go to https://lemmy.world/c/world in the browser there’s way more activity.

In all seriousness, what’s the move here if Tom doesn’t get back to us?
I had been thinking it had gone awfully quiet. I thought it might have been something I said. 😜
I asked this the last time Tom was quiet. It seems all we can do is migrate our accounts to another instance using third party tools.
Could we merely not take over the running of the instance and fund the server costs through patreon?
I don’t think we could, Tom is either self hosting it or hosting it with a provider with his private account details. Unless he gives us those details so we can migrate it away to a different host then I don’t really see a way forward.
Well, it’s been an honour I guess.
If Tom re-emerges he could appoint a number of admins and we could make sure funding is in place for the server costs. However, without him our only option would be to start a new instance.
