i don’t think there is, unfortunately. i could go in the db and edit it for you but it would screw with federation, you might run into problems using it on other instances
i’d recommend you to re-register, given how new your account is. if you registered with a gmail.com address there are two ways you can actually get distinct emails for a second account:
okay, yeah, i see the issue: the save button’s action is also connected to every other button for some reason, including the delete your account thing. probably just a bug in 0.18.0, hopefully it will be fixed when we upgrade. (a couple instances are already on the release candidate versions for captcha reasons, i’m holding out for the “stable” one before upgrading.) as a workaround for now, you could just enter an invalid email address (i just used “asdasdasd”) to your email and save it that way: the save button will complain that it’s not a real email and will not refresh the page, allowing you to complete the deletion.
thanks! i’ll debug that then. i can actually delete your account through the db in the meantime if you want me to, i doubt that will screw up much. (i have actually done that for like 270 bots on day one)

Yeah I kinda forgot ATP identity is all tied to usernames or something, I kinda wonder how AT handles changes without blowing up servers.

[email protected]
or even[email protected]
will point to[email protected]
[email protected]
will point to[email protected]
not all sites work with this second method but lemmy does, i used it while testing the spam filters
also, welcome to lemmy!
okay one thing I did notice is delete account is currently non working, I will use the gmail alias though I thought I should point that out
