As Israel reeled from the surprise attack, it ordered a “full siege” of Gaza and pounded the area with airstrikes. The IDF said it had gathered 300,000 troops ahead of what many expect to be a ground operation into the densely populated coastal enclave.
I can’t see any way for this to not end in a blood bath for both the IOF and Palestinians. How much air support can the IOF seriously expect to apply once they’ve got thousands of troops on the streets being hit with molotovs, rocks, and small gunfire? Is Israel going to take buildings down on top of IOF troops?
Me too.
Let’s not put it past them to blame any friendly fire on Hamas.
