minus-squareraccoona_nongratalinkfedilink5•2 years agoHaving Zuckerberg, the clammy, glassy-eyed mola mola, as the face of the effort was definitely a big mistake too. I mean, I’m glad it failed, but it was a mistake from a business perspective to use a wax figure with shark eyes as their mascot.
It died because meta (which everyone still sees as facebook) is a toxic brand, even to the average consumer now.
