    The thing is, there’s more disingenuousness there. Because story selection, performance, and editorial comments thrown in matter. Do you not know how to recognize manipulation techniques?

        You’re being glib so you don’t have to admit it’s possible to influence children by reading them a story carefully chosen, read in a specific way, and adding in specific comments.

          I’m just asking about your experience with Drag Queen Story Hour.

          The same could be said about Sunday school, right? A setting where a story is chosen to be read to children with the intention of influencing them?

            Yea. Because kids are stupid and don’t know that they don’t have to think what you tell them to think. So it’s pretty important that the people who control access to their children make good decisions on who gets to use that influence.
