As I said: they gained massive amounts of power while everyone said they were a dying ideology. Social media fuels them too, and has absolutely introduced the newer generations to how “the other” is fucking them over. From the newest Speaker to talk radio to Fox to all the youtube and tiktok radical fascists: none of them are boomers. The problem will not magically solve itself.

Over the past 30 years I witnessed society progress slowly. Minorities were openly mocked and ridiculed. Society progressed on its own and it became quite unpopular to disparage minorities. Trump may have made some people more comfortable but his legacy will eventually be erased. On a long enough timeline, everyone will have a gay friend or family member. Everyone has friends from different backgrounds. In the grand scheme of things If you don’t, you probably don’t matter.

Over the past thrity years I saw people become more radicalized towards right wing fascism, pushed by talk radio propaganda, the elimination of responsible journalism, and utter censorship of all non-fascist voices on the vroadcast airwaves.

The parts of the country that dont matter elected trump, scared away Democrat candidates, got three young SCOTUS judges for lifetime appointments and keep taking hold of Congress for multiple terms at a time.

            You’re doing great.

You know what the common denominator is in everything you mentioned? Monied interests.
