minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•2 years agoI’d suggest watching the hbo series then going back and watching the movie.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•edit-22 years agoOh, I just really liked the hbo series so that when I went back to watch the movie I was able to pay attention.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink17•2 years agoThe graphic novel was revolutionary when it came out in the late 80s. For a comic book it’s still extremely good, if you like character-based stories.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink15•2 years agoSubstantially better. It actually has a theme and internal morality that makes sense. Zack Snyder has a real talent for totally abandoning the actual meaning of comics in favor of capturing an aesthetic and this is no exception.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink13•edit-22 years agoYeah, but the aesthetics though 👌👌👌. I remember watching Watchmen at the theater and thinking these scenes are straight out of the comic panel. Love both of them. Edit: who watches the watchmen? Me, its me.
minus-squareMr Reach linkfedilink10•2 years agoFunny enough, the movie has a better fitting ending while the comic has better story pacing.
