They have been trying to make a Hamas in the West bank for forever now, and they’d do anything to make one. They would love for a militia to form in the West bank, go right in, take hostages and kill civilians. Next thing you’d hear is people on the internet calling for the displacement of the entire population of the West bank for supporting the militia.
No, I think they don’t really care and won’t until they get support pulled by the US. And given the US is negotiating a ceasefire, and civilian casualties have gone down the last week, the US may have threatened just that.
