It’s graphically very pretty, at least, and I’m gonna miss the place.

    I thought I read somewhere on reddit that they were handing out free credits for awards to try and artificially boost the usage to make it catch on. Then when you got things like gold, you’d get some free rewards to give away to others. I guess I assumed that’s all it ever was, as I couldn’t fathom why anyone would spend real money on that stuff. Of course, I also don’t understand people spending thousands of dollars on micro-transactions in phone games, so what do I know about human behavior…

      The part about them giving away free credits you could use on awards is definitely true. I somehow came into thousands of free credits which I spent on awards to gild comments I really jived with.

      I refused to give any actual money to Reddit for them, but happily paid for Apollo Ultra, which explains why I’m here now.
