I mean, only if they have no political awareness, and thus think centrist parties are leftist. That’s like saying that the DPRK will cure people’s belief in democratic republics.

I mean… No? You’re not stuck with two parties in Canada, and the NDP is clearly left of the Liberals. Are you even Canadian? You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

The NDP? You mean the ones voted with and supported Trudeau’s aimless shitbaggery for the last how long? The party completely indistinguishable at this point, who’ve gotten literally zero for their support except likely getting blown the fuck out next election? That NDP? Am I Canadian? Fuck me, are you? Where the hell you been? (Looks at profile…Texas, apparently)

It’s called a coalition government, friend. And none of your comments here have been the least bit informed—just reactionary garbage—so it seemed like a reasonable question. I’m very well acquainted with being frustrated by centrist and center-left parties. But you’d have to be a complete moron to believe the CPC is a better option.

It’s literally not a coalition government, it’s a confidence and supply arrangement. Someone here doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Anything to stop that cunt at this point, and I’m fond of keeping my guns, and not a huge fan of their pre-crime bill, or criminalizing speech.

Liberal Party in Canada is center, leans slightly left or right depending on the political climate. Politics courses teach about the difference between small l and capital L Liberal here.

It sort of depends on the country though, compared to the US the conservatives in Canada aren’t that far right as Republicans, though PP is making that statement a bit outdated. Liberals in Canada are usually to the left of Democratic party in the US, though not as much as I’d like. I’m not sure where we land compared to Europe but probably liberals are center right overall, with a margin of error putting them in the middle, depending which policies you are looking at.

It is only really in the states where ‘liberal’ means left wing. Nearly everywhere else liberalism is centre or centre-left.

Yeah, the Liberal party is left centerish, least in rhetoric, much like the Democrats. The problem is they’re also fucking shysters that don’t really beleive in anything but control.
