you know how i got my capabilities? i used my body to move around instead of sitting in a car at every opportunity. when you use your body it gets stronger and hills get easier. if that isnt possible for you, that sucks and i get it. but if you do have that ability and you choose not to use it, fucking skill issue get over it.

The person who you were first responding to, who was asking in good faith from everything I can tell, also said “how do elders deal with what other citizens would take for granted in terms of mobility?” You completely disregarded that. Would you tell your 80 year old grandparent just to bike harder in their hilly city? being out of shape is not a disability, that is very literally a skill issue. get to walking and biking and it gets easier
Being elderly or physically handicapped is not a question of “being out of shape”.
