In German the Japanese ne? Is ne?
Example:
Kawaii desu ne?
Es ist niedlich, ne?
However germans use depending on the region different words with the same meaning.
“gell, oder? (odda?)” and many more
Don’t forget “odr”
Und “wa” in Berlin
I guess “eh” and “huh” would be the closest translation in American English.
