Chrome’s century-long reign as that added bit of flash and glamour on new cars may be coming to an end. At least at one major auto maker, environmental and serious health concerns are outweighing its aesthetic appeal.

    When was the last time real chrome was on any of their cars? All chrome-like pieces on my old assed Jeep are shit assed plastic.

      Maybe the bumpers on some of the Ram trucks?

      Any of the decorative chrome bits have been cheap plasti-chrome for something like 30 years now.
